The first version of Forge of Empires launched in 2012. Building on the success of previous games like Sim City and Age of Empires, the game proved an enormous hit, and accumulated more than 10 million users worldwide. It relies on careful city management, and upgrading your empire through a well-balanced tech tree. Of course, every empire needs to have a reasonable command of warfare, too: you can trade with other countries, or you can wage war against them in a turn-based mini-game. As Sun Tzu recommends, you should know both yourself and your enemy: each unit has specific strengths and weaknesses; leverage them and you’ll be victorious in every battle.
